tracklist:
1. Sora Uta
2. My Stage
3. Sora Uta (Instrumental)
4. My Stage (Instrumental)
alan’s first up-tempoed a-side is Sora Uta, which is currently my favorite song from her. Not to mention, out of all her single covers, the most eye-catchy in my opinion is the cover for this single too. It’s really really pretty. Anyway, I’m really happy that alan experimented a little bit, and tried to sing up-beat songs like this because to be honest, I think all of her previous singles were good but, I was getting tired of hearing such slow songs because all of them were ballads. In this one, alan takes a break at singing slow songs and tries to impress people with an energetic song. Well, I do have to congratulate her since the song turned out to be excellent. I didn’t even know alan could amazingly sing a song like this. As for the instruments, they were all very very very good! They play a big part in this song because they help in highlighting alan’s strong vocals. My favorite part of the song would have to be the chorus because it is very very catchy, and the distorted vocals at the middle of the song because it sounds really cool, and amazing at the same time. The instruments too were great, very energetic and sounds so up-tempoed, which really surprised me because despite the fact that the song was fast, the song remained to contain an epic feel in it. In my opinion, Sora Uta is DEFINITELY alan’s best effort so far in her career!
The B-side, My Stage, is very different compared to all of alan’s songs, In a good way. I like how it sounds a bit RnB-influenced with it’s thumping beats, and the twinkle sounds at the background gives it a somehow cute sugary feel. alan’s voice really matches the accompaniment, and the overall sound of the song is excellent too. This song is different to what alan brings us but it’s really worth a try.
