BONNIE PINK –
Fed Up feat. Craig David

Fed Up feat. Craig David is the 2nd digital single of BONNIE PINK, which is a collaboration with Craig David. It was released on April 01, 2009, and is going to be re-released as track 9 of her 10th studio album, ONE.

tracklist:
01. Fed Up feat. Craig David

Fed Up is just amazing. Hands down. BONNIE PINK’s vocals were perfect for the background, and to know the fact that Craig David’s joining her made me fall in love with the song more. Both vocalists were really great together since both of their voices blends and flows together rhythmically. The brassy instruments present gave the song a classic retro feeling, which also suited BONNIE & Craig’s voices! There’s also a nice heavy beat, some synth, and constant claps to add to the coolness of the arrangement. The loops of Craig David’s voice during the adlib section was really impressive but, how BONNIE can control the flow of her voice was more stunning. Now that I’ve heard this, I AM NOW EXCITED for ONE.

Before the review, I’ll go on a “boring story-telling” mode again, because I want to share to you guys on how I discovered this excellent artist, BONNIE PINK! Actually, I only got to know her through my anime-lover sister when I was like in the 1st grade. And, just like some other people, I noticed her because of her uber-catchy song, It’s gonna rain!, that was used as an ending song for the anmie, Rorouni Kenshin. For the next 6 years, that was the only song by her that I knew. The next song I knew was another catchy song called, A Perfect Sky, that makes me want to sing “kiminomune” with her… XD Then, after knowing that song, I went on a wiki-research, and tried this fantastic song called, Ring A Bell.

So okay, I’ll admit that I went crazy over this song! You can’t blame me! Blame it on Bonnie! It’s not my fault for liking this awesome song! It’s Bonnie’s fault for making it! (And of course, when I said that, I wasn’t mad or anything) XD There are actually lots and lots of impressive facts about this song… one of it is that it is entirely sung in english and really shows how impressively good BONNIE is with english. two is that it makes use of guitars a lot! Which was a good thing because ms. PINK usually sounds great with it (even without it! She’s excellent, even without those instruments). lastly, and of course, not the least, It’s awesomely CATCHY! I mean, I never even heard anything catchy like this for so long, that it made me sing along even though I didn’t know the lyrics yet! XD In conclusion, it’s a very nice change to hear her sing english again, and is definitely a recommend!
