White choco is Ai Otsuka’s 18th overall single, and 2nd, under the stage name, LOVE. It was released on November 21, 2007 and reached #70 in the oricon weekly charts. It sold a total of 2,057 copies, and charted for one week.

White choco is very different from the Ai Otsuka we know. Ai-chin is best-known for her pop/rock oriented songs but, she suddenly takes a break from it, and experiments a little with techno-pop. Well, I do have to say she succeded. Why? Because In my opinion, White choco is PERFECT!! It has that cute, dreamy, cartoony atmosphere that really catches the listener’s attention. Seriously, this song is beyond catchy! As I have said just a few words ago, it is Perfect. When you first listen to it, you won’t notice that it’s the first time she has performed these kind of music. Well, it’s basically the second time since Love no Theme was released first but, who the hell cares? Besides, Love no Theme sucked.. A LOT! White choco was definitely better. Anyway, I really liked the way Ai’s voice blended with the backing instruments because personally, i thought it sounded extremely cute. I know I said it a while ago but, it really is! In all, a great “LOVE” release, and actually, one of Ai-chin’s best. Give us more Ai-chin!!
