2. Praline
3. Ame ga Furu (w/o Maaya)
4. Praline (1+1)

Probably my most favorite song from Maaya Sakamoto is Ame ga Furu. Ever since the first time I heard it, I instantly fell in love with her beautiful vocals,  and the song’s melodic arrangement. Another reason why I fell in love with this song is because of the lyrics. Who even makes EPIC lyrics like these?
“When the rain has completely stopped, Where should I return to? When I want to meet you, In what way should I call out?”
I never even saw lyrics as awesome as that. Seriously. But that’s really not the main attraction of this song. The most amazing thing about this song is that Maaya gives an excellent vocal performance in this song, especially during the calm verse parts. The way she sings in a laid-back way, was just amazing because it makes her voice sound so innocent. This song is just STUNNING, to wrap it all up.

If the b-side was a bit too slow for you and your tastes, you guys might like the B-side instead. Although in my case, I didn’t just like the next song, I LOVED Praline. I love the sort-of-classic  western rock arrangement it has because it matches the catchy melody Maaya sings. I also love how bright this song sounds, because it really removes the sadness in your head after hearing the A-side. This is another great song, neverthless.

After the instrumental of Ame ga Furu comes the 1+1 version of Praline. This version is more piano-based than the original, but it’s still cool because all of the amazing factors that was found in the original version is still here. I still prefer the original, but this one gets a high grade too. ^^

Favorite Track:
Ame ga Furu, and Praline
