Single Review
ravex – I RAVE U

I RAVE U is ravex’s debut single, and was released on November 19, 2008.

tracklist:
1. I RAVE U feat. DJ OZMA
2. HOUSE NATION feat. LISA
3. I RAVE U feat. DJ OZMA (Extended Version)
4. I RAVE U
5. I RAVE U feat. DJ OZMA (Karaoke)

I’m gonna be honest. I FUCKING HATE I RAVE U. The male vocals, most likely from DJ OZMA, are so annoying, and the chants at the background wasn’t amusing. It sounded so unprofessional. The “nnyenye” part near the bridge was so bad that it made my ear bleed. In fact, the whole song is so bad, and it’s definitely not recommendable to anyone, not even to animals.

The B-side wasn’t enough to fully make up for the failure of the first track, but it definitely did raise the single’s grade to one level. HOUSE NATION, the collabo with LISA was so awesome! The background was just so mind-blowing with all of the synth and beats present. Not to mention the background voice that says “music” during the intro. This song probably is my favorite collabo from ravex, especially since it’s so catchy and dancy. The “mama, papa gave birth, to baby music..” part after the chorus was my favorite part because it was just.so.damn.infectious. Even though the song is 6 minutes long, I don’t mind because of it’s catchiness. To wrap it all up, I will drop this one sentence: HOUSE NATION definitely is ravex’s best creation.

I AM GONNA KILL SOMEONE. ravex, don’t you get it? The original version sucks!!!! Why make an extended version of  I RAVE U?!! Same as the original, this is just horrible. Although, this one is more worse since it is extended.

This version of I RAVE U is by far, the best out of all the 3 in this single. Why? because DJ OZMA isn’t in it. I’m serious. I wasn’t that blown away by this version, but the arrangement is quite good. I love the heavy synths here, but that’s all. Still not impressive.
